This workshop will show you how to increase the experience of attentiveness by exploring different ways of seeing with colour, line, patterns and textures, reflections, light and shadow. Practising with these simple techniques can change both your appreciation of mindfulness and what photography means to you.
Course Summary:
This workshop will show you how to increase the experience of attentiveness by exploring different ways of seeing with colour, line, patterns and textures, reflections, light and shadow. Practising with these simple techniques can change both your appreciation of mindfulness and what photography means to you.
Eligibility:
Adults must be over the age of 19, have lived in the UK for 3 years, earn under £20,000 a year or have qualifications below a full level 2 or health issues. Please email to confirm eligibility for funding before attending the course.
How will the course be taught?
This 3 hour workshop will take place in the L&P hub at Gloucester Cathedral.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will follow your own individual learning plan with progress recorded by tutors and yourself.
Prior Knowledge:
No prior knowledge required.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring any device you are comfortable to photograph with whether a camera, smartphone or tablet.

Cost:
£5 if you do not qualify for a funded space.

Health and safety:
All of our venues undergo a health and safety audit on a regular basis. The tutor will advise on health and safety guidelines at the beginning of the course, these guidelines will be followed throughout the course.
