This is a course directed at ESOL learners provides the opportunity to introduce and expand mathematics vocabulary and develop confidence in numeracy skills. Get to grips with numbers, shapes and data, participate in class quizzes and fun activities, and ultimately feel comfortable answering wordy maths problems that are applicable to our everyday lives.
Complete this course and you will receive a Functional Skills Level 1 textbook.
Course Summary

Eligibility
Are you aged 19 or over? Have you lived in the UK for 3 years or longer? Have you no maths GCSE Grade C / Grade 4 or equivalent?
How will the course be taught?
Learning will take place in small friendly classes at GL11 Community Hub. There will be a mixture of individual and group work, with demonstrations, discussions and worksheets.
How will I know how well I am doing?
You will follow your own individual learning plan with progress recorded by tutors and yourself.
