During this course you will have a clear induction to personalisation in social care and the introductory awareness of Autistic Spectrum Conditions. You will learn the principles of a positive risk taking for individuals with disabilities, as well as the principles of supporting individuals with a learning disability to access healthcare. As this is important to the individual you care for you will cover safeguarding and protecting them in a care setting and their own environments.
Course Summary
Develop a comprehensive understanding of issues related to different types of learning disabilities and how these affect individuals in their daily lives through this certificate in principles of working with individuals with learning disabilities.
